'She breathes in the cold clear water in' was created during my residency at DuplexAIR, Lisbon (Portugal), and curated by Francesca Portugal on February 2022.

'She breathes in the cold clear water in' is a sound piece I composed after the poem 'Ophelia, The Queen of Denmark', written by Margie Orford and accompanied by the voice of Hannah Walton. The layers of bass and voices are merging with each other as the waves of the sea are melting. It invites to listen with your entire body by laying down on the floor, and give space to female voices and experiences.
